ミゲル・ド・セルバンテス・サヴィドラ(スペイン語:Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra、1547年9月29日-1616年4月23日)は、スペインの小説家、劇作家、詩人。マドリード近くのエナレスブルクで生まれ、スペイン文学の世界で最も偉大な作家と呼ばれている。その作品「ドン・キホーテ」はスペイン古典芸術のピークに達し、ヨーロッパ近代リアリズム小説の創作が新たな段階に入ったことを示している。評論家たちは彼の小説「ドン・キホーテ」はヨーロッパ文学史上初の現代小説であり、世界文学の至宝の一つでもあると主張している。セルバンテスは世界文学に大きな影響を与え、スペイン語でさえ「セルバンテスの言語」と呼ばれている。2015年3月17日、スペインの専門家は17日、スペインの偉大な作家で文学大作『ドン・キホーテ』の著者ミゲル・ド・セルバンテス・サビドラ氏の遺骨がマドリード中心部のトリニタリアス教会内で見つかったと発表した。
