Bo Yibo (1908-2007) was a Chinese politician who served as a member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of the Central Secretariat, and Vice Premier of the State Council. On January 15, 2007, Bo Yibo passed away in Beijing at the age of 99. Bo Yibo is a proletarian revolutionist of the older generation of the CPC, and an important member of the fourth generation of the central collective leadership of the Communist Party of China. He has made important contributions to the CPC and the national cause in the long-term revolutionary struggle.
